Athenaeum Scientific Publishers is a self-supporting organization and do not receive funding from any institution/government. Like other Open Access publishers, Athenaeum Scientific Publishers charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) once an article is accepted for publication. These charges spread the expenses of transforming an original copy (manuscript) into a finished article, just as the expenses of facilitating, distributing and promoting an article. Hence, the activity of the manuscripts is exclusively financed by the publication charge of 159 USD processing charges, got towards Journal Formatting Services from authors.
Being an Open Access, Athenaeum Scientific Publishers does not receive payment for subscription, as the manuscripts are freely accessible over the internet. Having said this, Athenaeum Scientific Publishers doesn’t follow any other charges except some nominal charges towards Journal maintenance.
However, Athenaeum Scientific Publishers provides some reduction in Article Processing Charges (APC) on papers where, all authors of the submitted manuscript are based in any of the Low-income economy countries but the final decision will be taken by the Editorial Board of the journal.
In any case, an author may wish to withdraw a manuscript after submitting the manuscript the withdrawal charges will be applicable according to the journal withdrawal policy.
