Waivers and Discounts
APC waivers or discounts may be considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly for authors from low-income countries or in exceptional circumstances, in accordance with journal policies.
Membership Option
Athenaeum Scientific Publishers offers an optional membership program for authors.
Where an author has an active membership plan, the associated fee is treated as an advance administrative payment covering submission handling and publication processing for the number of manuscripts included in the selected plan.
If a manuscript submitted under an active membership is accepted following peer review, no additional Article Processing Charges (APCs) are required for that manuscript, as the applicable publication processing is covered under the membership.
Authors who do not enroll in a membership plan may submit manuscripts without any upfront payment. In such cases, an APC is applicable only after acceptance, as described in the journal’s APC policy.
Membership is entirely optional and does not influence editorial evaluation, peer review, or acceptance decisions. All manuscripts are assessed independently based on scientific merit, quality, and ethical standards.
