Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Ophthalmology and Advance Research

undergo an initial editorial screening to assess scope, originality, and ethical compliance.

Manuscripts passing this stage are subjected to a double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and absence of conflicts of interest.

Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, reviewer recommendations, and ethical considerations, and are made independently of any financial considerations, including Article Processing Charges (APCs).

All submitted manuscripts, reviewer reports, and editorial communications are treated as confidential. Peer review is conducted in accordance with the ethical standards and best-practice guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The journal aligns its editorial and publishing practices with the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
