Membership Program – Submission Support Only

Athenaeum Scientific Publishers offers an optional membership program designed to support manuscript submission administration and workflow management across its journals.

Membership does not confer any editorial preference, priority, or influence over peer review or acceptance decisions.

Scope of Membership

Membership provides:

  • Eligibility to submit manuscripts to journals published by Athenaeum Scientific Publishers
  • Standard editorial handling and peer review for each submission
  • Independent evaluation of each manuscript based on journal scope, academic quality, ethical compliance, and scientific merit

Each manuscript is assessed individually. Editorial outcomes are not affected by membership status.

Editorial Independence (Important)

Payment of membership fees does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

All editorial decisions are made independently by Editors and reviewers in accordance with published editorial and ethical policies and COPE guidance.

1-Year Membership Options

The following plans apply only to submission administration within a 12-month period:

  • Plan A: Up to 3 submissions — USD 299
  • Plan B: Up to 6 submissions — USD 599
  • Plan C: Up to 12 submissions — USD 999
  • Plan D: No fixed submission limit — USD 1599

Unused submissions do not carry forward beyond the membership period.

Important Notes

  • Membership fees are non-refundable
  • Submission under a membership does not ensure acceptance
  • Rejection, withdrawal, or ethical concerns are handled strictly according to journal policies
  • Membership does not exempt authors from authorship, ethical, conflict-of-interest, or reporting requirements

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Where applicable, Article Processing Charges are applied only after editorial acceptance and are separate from membership fees.

APCs do not influence editorial evaluation or peer review.
